A silver color mace head engraved on the dome with two crossed bugles, bells down, above a field piece in front of a wall and upon a mount, all enclosed by a shield shaped border; below the dome a designation band encircling the head engraved "THE ARMY GROUND FORCES BAND," and on the shaft, on either side, a scroll engraved with the unit's two decorations each above a ribbon scroll folded, of five sections, all above a piece of cactus. On alternate sides of the shaft two ribbon scrolls each folded of eight sections; the ribbon scrolls engraved with one of the unit's twenty-six campaigns.
